Backpacks for Hunger is a PTA-sponsored year-round food drive. Approximately 30 children at our school receive a backpack of food for their family every week. This helps to feed around 150 people in our community weekly! The program is funded and run by the Keller PTA. Lake Washington School District has a similar program, but only provides food for the student. Thanks to generous community support, we are able us to provide food for the student and their family.

The PTA holds seasonal food drives at the Totem Lake QFC. We encourage all families to volunteer to help (especially kids)! We also accept monetary, food, clothes, and coat donations at the school everyday. Please leave all donations in the gray cart by the cafeteria. Monetary or gift card donations can be turned into the school office.

If you need food assistance, please speak with Ashleigh Stuckey astuckey@lwsd.org All requests are kept confidential.

If would like to help with this program, please email Sequoya Lange at sequoyalange@gmail.com.
